This tour starts at Maghery community centre (near Dungloe) and takes in the stunning sights of Maghery Strand as well as views out to the many dotted islands and Arranmore. Along the trail we will pass the famous Crohy Head Sea Stacks and the rural coastal community of Falmore before arriving at our mid way point of Falcorrib with it's roaming wild sheep and rugged mountains. Here we will stop for lunch as we enjoy the spectacular views out to Nairn, Portnoo, Glencolmcille and many more. After lunch we will stroll down to the bay of marameelan before we make our way inland through the mountain valleys and scattered salt lakes. Our final leg will take us meandering down the Cleendra bray with it's magnificent views out to the Derryveagh and Errigal mountains. This tour is perfect for those looking for a little taste of both coastal and mountain sights. It is a moderate walk and can be enjoyed with a basic level of fitness. (please bring a packed lunch & water)
